I’m not able to do certain things, I’m not able to be in the sun, I’m not allowed to go swimming,” Alderson said. Whitney was told it would take months before she could ride again, but says with the love and support from her family and the community, she says this accident has been a blessing in disguise. “It was a hard long road to recovery but it’s made me look at life in a completely different way, and I’m very grateful and appreciative every second of that,” Alderson said.
